Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Polls are open 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m on Election Day, 11/3. If you are in line by 7:00 p.m., you will be allowed to vote. Here is everything you need to make your voice heard.
Early Voting – OPEN NOW
Early voting is open now at the Christian County Clerk’s Office, 2nd floor of the Christian County Courthouse, 101 S. Main St., Taylorville. It is the only early voting location in the county, and the courthouse is accessible. Weekday hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. See the Clerk’s full early voting schedule, including Saturday hours.

Vote by Mail
Any registered voter can request a Vote by Mail ballot from the County Clerk. Your application must reach the Clerk by mail by October 29. Your completed ballot must be postmarked by November 3 and received by November 17 to be counted. Please don’t wait: mail it early or return it to the Clerk’s Office in person.

- Regular registration closed October 6. You can still register and vote the same day during Grace Period voting at the County Clerk’s Office through Election Day. Bring two forms of ID, one showing your current address.
